Block Publishing has done it again as our newest book and software set, You’re Blushing, Little Octopus is a Mom’s Choice Silver Award Recipient in children’s picture books, multimedia experiences. The Mom’s Choice awards program is known as a benchmark of excellence in family-friendly products. Entries are reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges that includes experts in education and media, as well as parents, children, librarians, and authors. Entries are evaluated for production quality, design, educational value, originality, appeal and cost.

 Coral Reef Interactive Book Wins Preferred Choice Award from Creative Child® Magazine
Pacific Grove, CA (Nov. 17, 2008) — Block Publishing proudly announces that their newest book and software set, “You’re Blushing, Little Octopus,” was chosen for a Preferred Choice award from Creative Child magazine and will be highlighted in the holiday issue.
In Creative Child Magazine’s Awards program, both moms and educators review products. Each May, over 100 guest reviewers test the submitted products; their scores and comments are tabulated and reviewed to select the best of the products. Finalists for the Toy of the Year award in each category receive the prestigious Preferred Choice award.
